Recently, Mrs. Christy, Mrs. Sullivan, and Mrs. White’s classes had the opportunity to participate in a fire safety training with the Batesville Fire Department.
Students learned valuable lessons about kitchen fire safety and the importance of staying calm and prepared in case of an emergency. One of the highlights was getting hands-on experience with a simulated fire extinguisher, where they practiced how to correctly operate it to put out a simulated fire.
A huge thank you to the Batesville Fire Department for taking the time to teach our students these critical life skills. 🙌 Their guidance not only helps keep our students safe, but also prepares them to make safe choices at home and in their future workplaces.
