Today on National Principal’s Day, we take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible principals who lead with heart, vision, and unwavering dedication. Principals are so much more than administrators — they are mentors, role models, and champions for every student and educator in their schools. Their leadership helps create safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environments where students can thrive and communities can grow stronger. To every South Panola School Principal who shows up each day ready to listen, guide, and empower — thank you. Your impact is deep and lasting, and we are truly grateful for all you do. Happy National Principal Day!

Shattered Dreams: Today, we held a safety drill to remind our students of the harsh consequences of drinking and driving. Through this realistic simulation, we aimed to show just how easily dreams can be shattered in an instant. It’s a wake-up call: the choices we make today can impact our future forever. Thank you to all of our community members that made this possible. #SPfamily

South Panola School District would like to inform you that an important safety drill will take place in the parking lot of Dunlap Stadium on March 6th at 9am. This drill is designed to educate students about the dangers of drinking and driving and will involve various emergency response vehicles, including helicopters, fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, and county emergency vehicles. Please note, this is a drill only. There will be no real emergency taking place; however, the presence of these vehicles and the simulated emergency situation may be alarming to some. The purpose of this exercise is to provide hands-on learning experiences that demonstrate the serious consequences of impaired driving. We hope this drill will leave a lasting impact on all who participate and witness it. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. The drill is a controlled and carefully coordinated exercise aimed at educating and raising awareness.
