Members with the South Panola Junior Civitan, along with Sponsors Miriam Johnson and Melissa Towles delivered Christmas bags to nursing homes in Batesville and Sardis. It was a joy to see all their smiling faces.

The South Panola High School Early Childhood students had an amazing opportunity to visit Batesville Elementary to shadow and observe the Pre-K teachers in action! This hands-on experience allowed them to see daily routines, classroom management, learning centers, and the joy of teaching little learners. Some of our students were able to visit with their former Pre-K teachers, and we even got to see some of our former Tiger Care students.

They shared valuable insight into what it takes to become an RN and BSN, what college life is really like, and how important it is to understand your learning style to succeed in nursing school. 💡📚
Students also got to hear some incredible stories from their experiences working in the Emergency Room — the fast pace, the teamwork, and the moments that remind you why healthcare matters. 🚑❤️

The JROTC Cadet Drone Teams took on some of the best teams in the Southeast at the Grenada Navy JROTC Drone Shootout and came home with the following awards: Team B: All Around Champion, Team C: Airmanship Award/2nd Overall. Teams A and B were only a point shy of the finals and Team C battled all the way to the championship round. The Cadets are officially qualified for the JROTC National Championship Southeast Regional Championship and looking to repeat with back to back National Titles!
Team A members: Atiya Draper, Casandra Johnson, Keaudrey Black, and Azyia Butler. Team B members: Adriana Joiner, Kylan Lee, Tony Allen, and Zaykwon Wilson. Team C members: Harmony Leavy, Jermirayia Henderson, and Jakeria Henderson. Team D members: Davyan Miles, Jakeria Jones, London Glover, Brandon Johnson. Pit Boss is Deadra Lee.

After learning about the full process of manufacturing a product, students drafted designs for their custom car projects, built their prototypes, and then hit the track to see whose car would go the distance.
