Mr. Beebe brings nearly three decades of dedicated service to students and teachers as a teacher, assistant principal, and elementary and high school principal. He’s built a career defined by a commitment to academic excellence and focused leadership. Mr. Beebe has 17 years of experience as a school administrator, navigating the unique challenges of both foundational primary years and the pivotal final steps of secondary education.
A diverse tenure in elementary leadership anchors his administrative journey. He served a total of seven years as an elementary principal, during which he had the privilege of leading three distinct communities: Tunica Elementary, Pontotoc Elementary, and Strayhorn Elementary. These years were instrumental in shaping his belief that a strong educational foundation is the key to lifelong success. For the last eight years, he served as the high school principal at Strayhorn High School. Transitioning from the elementary level to high school leadership allowed him to see the whole arc of a student’s educational journey.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, he is supported by a wonderful family. He is married to his wife, Laurie, and they are incredibly proud of their children. They are busy with their son, Rob, currently a student at Ole Miss, and their stepdaughter, Mollie, as she navigates her professional life.
It is with great enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence that he looks forward to leading Pope School for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. He is eager to bring his experiences to this new community and continue fostering an environment where every student can thrive.
