Attention Parents: Please make sure you have completed registration for your student(s) for the 2025-2026 school year! Your student(s) will NOT have a homeroom or have a schedule until registration is completed.
You will need the registration code provided on the report card your student(s) received in May. If you do not have a code for your student(s), please contact the Pope School office at 662-563-3732.

Peace Out 2nd Grade Celebration!
Second Grade Bulldogs received prizes for beating their iReady Growth goals, classroom awards, and end of the year snacks/gifts.
Kindergarten celebrated the end of year with a music program "Making Our Way in the World" and award recognition ceremony on Monday.
Pope Pre-K celebrated the end of year with a music program "When I Grow Up" and award recognition ceremony on Monday.
SP Golf Teams Announced!
The 8th Grade dance scheduled for 7:00 PM tonight is still going to be held this evening at the First United Methodist Church. Hope all students are able to attend!
We are pleased to announce the rescheduled date for the Pope 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony!
The ceremony will now be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 5:30 PM in the Pope Gym.
8th-grade students will need to report to the school auditorium by 4:30 PM on the day of the ceremony.
Thank you again for your understanding and flexibility as we worked to find a new date. We look forward to celebrating our 8th graders with you!
We regret to inform you that the 8th-grade recognition ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th, has been postponed. This decision was made in collaboration with Panola County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service due to threats of incoming severe weather.
We understand this news may be disappointing, and we share that feeling. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority.
A new date will be communicated as soon as it is finalized. We are working diligently to reschedule and will provide updated information regarding the new date, time, and any other relevant details as soon as possible.
We're monitoring the weather closely for the 8th-grade dance for Pope students this evening. A decision regarding the dance will be made by 4:30 PM today due to incoming inclement weather. We'll send out an update as soon as the decision is made.

Pope School Field Day 2025 is a wrap! Thanks so much to the faculty, staff, parent volunteers, and Booster club for making it an awesome day for our Bulldogs!
