Get ready for tip off! Pope Bulldog Basketball starts this week!

Bulldogs are stuck on our bosses! Last week our students and teachers celebrated Boss's Day by creating a post-it storm on the office doors for Dr. Wilson and Mr. Smith to let them know just how much they are appreciated!

Red Ribbon Week is around the corner!
Do you know this little guy? This sweet pup has been wandering around our school grounds for the last couple of days. Contact the Pope School office if you know him! 662-563-3732
Don't forget that tonight is the last football game for the Bulldogs! Kickoff is at 5:30. Come out and support our guys and enjoy a special performance from the Mini Cheer Camp girls!

This is just a reminder that this coming up Thursday, October 16th, our Pope Bulldogs will take on the BJH Tigers here at the Pope School football field with kickoff being at 5:30p.m.
Gates to this event will open at 5:00p.m. with general admission being $5 per person. n
The Pope School Mini Cheer Camp participants will receive free admission into the game, but they must be wearing their cheer shirt that they received at the cheer camp previously held earlier in the school year.
All mini cheer camp participants will need to be at the sidelines no later than 5:30p.m. Once they have completed their performance, which will be held during halftime, parents/guardians of participants will need to immediately come and pick your child up at the sidelines where you dropped them off at that location.
NOTE: All parents/guardians of participants must stay until the performance has been completed. No participants for the mini cheer camp event are to be dropped off and left “unattended” at the school.
We are very excited for you to see these girls show off their cheer skills that they learned, so please make plans to come out and show your support for them and our football players this Thursday night!!! If you have any questions please contact the Pope School Office at 662-563-3732.

Congratulations to the Pre-K thru 2nd Grade Bulldogs for winning the Go Jim Go Hallway Competition and raising the most money! They earned an afternoon of bouncy fun to start their Fall Break! Way to go!

Mrs. Fleming's 3rd graders know all the angles! Last week they read "Bonaparte Falls Apart" to study angles. Students used what they learned to create their own Bonaparte!

Bulldog shout out! Thanks to our wonderful custodians for keeping our school looking great!

Don't forget!

Bulldog Shout Out! Thanks to Batesville Methodist Church for feeding our football boys and sending them to the field with a positive message!

Here's "pie in your eye!" Recently Bulldogs were treated to an academic pep rally to get ready for Benchmark Testing this week. As an added bonus, 16 students celebrated perfect scores on the MAAP Assessments from the spring testing season by "pie-ing" their favorite principal!
Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Pope School is not the same without you!

Congratulations to our Pope School September Students, Teacher, and Paraprofessional of the Month!
