We're so excited to welcome grandparents to our special event for elementary students on Friday, September 5th!

To ensure a safe and smooth entry for everyone, please remind any grandparents attending that they will need to show a valid photo ID at the entrance.

We're expecting a large and enthusiastic crowd, and we truly appreciate your patience and kindness as we work to get everyone in as quickly as possible. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Good afternoon! This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday September 5th, we will be celebrating Grandparent's Day for grades PreK through 5th. The schedule for the events is listed below. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 662-563-3732. Due to limited space in the classrooms, this event is for grandparents only.

7:30 - 8:15 a.m. PreK - 2nd Grade (enter the office doors)

8:45 - 9:30 a.m. 3rd grade (enter the 3rd grade building from outside doors)

4th - 5th grade (enter through the outside cafeteria doors)

Merit students used creativity and talent to complete the Split Face Challenge. Students had to reproduce the image of their own face to complete the picture. Then students had to reflect on their own strengths, weaknesses, and characteristics, giving them a better perspective on themselves and their feelings as well as others around them. Through this challenge students learned how to better interact and participate with teams and partners. Definitely a way for students to practice "Fish" characteristics like learning to work with different groups through play.

Merit students participated in a variety of challenges to build team skills during the past few weeks. As students worked through and completed the challenges, they learned things about each other and themselves, making them stronger team players and more confident students.

Camo Day for the Tigers!

Mrs. Loden's and Mrs. Jessica's Kindergarten Bulldogs celebrated filling up their Class Compliment Basket with a sweet treat from Mrs. Jessica's husband! Way to show those "Fish" traits guys!

Making it count! Mrs. Brower's 2nd grade students got hands-on with manipulatives to practice addition skills this week!

ATTENTION: Due to inclement weather the Pope School football game against Ruleville has been cancelled. Football players will take their regular car/bus home today.

ATTENTION: Mini Cheer Camp will still proceed. More information to follow.

If your student would like to joint TSA (Technology Student Association), the applications and permission slips are in Mrs. Doubleday's classroom. Applications, permission slips, and dues must be turned in by Friday, 9-5-25.
