The South Panola Career and Technical Education Department is proud to announce that Owen Morris has been selected as the 2026 CTE Student of the Year. Owen is currently a student at South Panola High School and has distinguished himself as an outstanding student and leader in the Horticulture program and Future Farmers of America (FFA).
A dedicated member of the Horticulture program, Owen has demonstrated excellence through his commitment to agricultural education, leadership, and service. His hard work and involvement in FFA activities have made him a respected student among his peers and teachers.
To honor his achievements, Mr. Josh Davenport, Horticulture instructor and FFA Advisor, presented Owen with the CTE Student of the Year plaque, while Dr. Leigh Taylor Unruh of Family Pet Hospital awarded him a $100 check in recognition of his exceptional performance and dedication throughout the year.
Additionally, Jamie O'Conner of Thermos LLC generously provided the Student of the Year with a personalized tumbler featuring his name, adding a special touch to this honor. To complete the celebration, Owen is also receiving a specially designed T-shirt provided and created by T&R Graphics.
Owen exemplifies the values and excellence of South Panola’s Career and Technical Education programs, and we are proud to celebrate his achievements and contributions to agricultural education.
