South Panola CTE Celebrates February Student of the Month, Chrishon Ellis
Congratulations to Chrishon Ellis, South Panola’s February CTE Student of the Month! A
dedicated Work-Based Learning student and active FFA member, Chrishon exemplifies
commitment, enthusiasm, and a drive for success. His experiences in South Panola’s Career and
Technical Education (CTE) programs have expanded his skill set and prepared him for a bright
future in the workforce.
Chrishon’s dedication was also recognized last year when he was named the 2024 Career and
Technical Student of the Year.
Mr. Josh Davenport, Chrishon’s Horticulture instructor and FFA advisor, proudly presented him
with this month’s Student of the Month plaque. The award was generously sponsored by Blake
Shipp of Guaranty Bank, who presented Chrishon with a recognition check. In addition, Jamie
O’Connor of Thermos LLC provided a personalized tumbler, engraved with Chrishon’s name
and organization affiliation.
After graduation, Chrishon plans to major in Crop Entomology, continuing his path of excellence
and innovation.
