Mrs. Sturgis's 4th grade students learned about the significance of September 11th this week. They read "This Very Tree," which is a true story about the Callery Pear Tree surviving the attacks on 9/11. The class discussed how our nation showed resilience and regrowth just like the tree in the book! Students finished the time by creating a craft to remember the day.
