Last week in Mrs. Willis’ science class, 8th Grade students got creative by using gummy worms to model the phases of mitosis. It was a fun and hands-on way to explore the process, with the colorful gummy worms representing chromosomes as they went through the stages of cell division. A sweet twist on learning the science behind growth and reproduction!
