For the first time, not one, but two SPSD schools are “A” schools – Batesville Elementary School and Batesville Intermediate School – and all SPSD schools are “B” schools or above in the Mississippi Department of Education’s Accountability Results. As a district, SPSD retained its “B” rating for the second consecutive year.

The results, which were approved on Thursday (Sept. 19), show the South Panola School District has gained the most points of any district in the state with 141 points over the last four years on the Mississippi Statewide Accountability System.
