AFJROTC recognized for efforts

The South Panola High School Air Force Junior ROTC Squadron has once again been recognized for the work they do within the community and the school.

The cadets were recently awarded The High School of the Year Award by the Mississippi Blood Services for their contribution to saving lives through collecting blood donations.

The AFJROTC students spearhead two blood drive events each year and coordinate more than 120 appointments each session.

This award is not only a result of the leadership from the cadets but a total team effort from the administration, teachers and staff, as well as the students who give the gift of life.
