CTE auto program receives ASE certification

Auto program ASE certified

The South Panola High School Career and Technical Education automotive program was recently informed it met the strict industry standards required for accreditation in maintenance and light repair by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation.

“We compliment you for attaining the level of excellence recognized by the ASE Education Foundation,” a congratulatory letter read. “Both the educational and automotive communities should be proud of your commitment to quality automotive training.”

The automotive program is under the instruction of Philip Ray (far left), who is ASE and National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified.

Joining Ray in the recognition were CTE Counselor Shaquita Lathon and CTE Director David Tutor.
